How do I settle with NNA on Feathering?
Hi,
I'm considering going to arbitration over feathering (x3) and window problems (grease streaks & rattles x 3) and I was wondering if I have the option of settling with them before I enter arbitration or hire a lawyer.
Best scenario, I let NNA know that I want to settle and they buy my car back. Of course, if this does not work out I'll pursue everything in my option to make NNA pay.
Does anyone know TO WHOM I need to send a letter offering a settlement option?

If you have mentioned the word buy-back to NNA consider your communications and future workings with them terminated. Just check the posts within this section to see if anyone has had success with Nissan stepping up without being forced to legally... It will not happen.
I had 39+ phone calls documented to Nissan and in those the individual representing Nissan at the arbitration hearing could only verify two repsonses by NNA. If I were you, I would not waste any more time, and move forward through arbitration. As more people realize that their vehicles are seriously flawed, the more difficult it will be to get through the process. I filed for arbitration in early December and just completed the process yesterday. Nissan is still about $1,000 off of what the BBB ordered to be refunded and these jerks would not include my $1,800 worth of the extended warranty in the figure because the BBB did not include it in their figure. It took a number of phone calls to get them to refund the unused portion of that warranty and to boot, that check will take between 4-6 weeks to arrive. Now I'm short over $2250 to purchase a replacement, with $1,000 of that probably never to be returned.
Nissan is not on your side and will not step up completely, not even when they are legally forced to. Yes I'm bitter about all of this and I will never purchase another Nissan!
