Default Thud Noise in Front Suspension When Making Sharp Left Turn

ANybody else have an occasional thud noise when making a sharp left or U turn? It seems to happen occasionally, sounds like the thud comes from the front left area. Help!

i get some noises while making hard lefts. It comes from the right rear side though. I'm going to get my car on a lift and tighten every suspension component on this damn car. Thats the problem. Not everything is torqued correctly

It is the upper control arm bolts that need to be tightened.

i get the same noise from the front left. however, unlike you, i get the noise when im backing down my driving and when i turn the wheel right, it makes the noise. i also get the noise under moderate braking. i had the same issue on my RSX-S when i lowered. whats kinda weird was this noise sounds the same, seems to be coming from the same spot, yet my Z's suspension is completely stock.

i come later to find out, that after 3k miles on my Eibach Pro-Kit, on my RSX-S, that my front shocks are completely blown.

anyhow, does anyone know if this could be the same thing your talking about?

thanks
john

Well took my car in to the dealer about this problem. THey actually said there was a TSB on the upper bolt tightening, unfortunately it didn't work. They said they were going to replace my front axle? I didn't even know rear wheel drive cars had front axles? Any comments?

Not getting a thud sound but a rubbing. On my Z everytime driving when Im steering to the left I get a rubbing sound as if the tires are touching something. Dont know what it can be.Took it to the dealer they said it was tire feathering at the left front tire and they ordered me a new set of front tires under the TSB. Got the new tires on and car back today and still get the same rubbing. Any one know what it can be.I have an 04 base with 2800 miles on it. Driving at higher speeds it gets even louder and more annoying.I can feel it evertime I steer the slightest to the left.

I also have that clunk thud sound when turning especially like mentioned backing up from my drive way and turning the steering wheel. I'll tell them about there tightening of the control arm. Thanks guys.
