Anybody have their driver or passenger side window stopped working. Recently the windows have been moving slow and I'm going to the dealer tomorrow because my driver's side window gets stuck down like 5x a day. Is this just a window motor?

 

Most likely. Dealer will swap it out under warranty for you.

 

Yeah thats what I thought it was....I'll let you guys know for sure tomorrow. My passenger side moves really slow also, do you think it would be ok to make a case for them to change out both of them?

 

Welcome to the club. Although, it isnt very exclusive.

Drivers went out on me after about 10k miles. Fixed free under warranty.

 

My drivers window auto button takes about 3 pushes now before it rolls down. Is this a precursor to the problem you guys are having?

 

I think the club is expanding all over the world with this window problem. I am in Panama central america, and at least 5 of the 20 cars already sold here ( small country) have had the trouble including mine.

 

I just got this as well. Passanger window is stuck.

 

My driver side window stopped working the other day at 12,500 miles. This was the second time; the first time it magically started working again after about an hour. I took it to the dealer as soon as it happened (it was stuck in the open position) and they replaced the motor under warranty.

 

Yeah mine started like that. I have 32,000 miles on mine and it just happened, seems like mine lasted more than some of you guys. Anyway I got it replaced under warranty, it was a window motor....

I just had my driver's side window fixed. 22k miles. My z is 1 and a half years old.

 

The driver's window has been working on and off for 2 weeks and the dealer would only look at it if it wasn't working. Sure enough, when I took it to the dealer it decided to work. Last week they finally replaced a switch....did not help. It needs a new motor and it is backordered. They have no idea when it will arrive. Of course, while out of town last weekend it stuck in the open position!

 

I just took my 350Z for driver's window sticking open. Dealer charged $90.00 for "adjustment" of window to correct problem with the automatic features. No parts replaced. Car has 26.6K miles on it.

Adjustment are cover only for 12K....I have open issue with NNA for this charge!
