Is the Rare JDM harness cover made from aluminium? It looks like it would be possible to fabricate one DIY. Can someone with one provide some insight? It looks like a pretty simple build.

What would be sweet would be to have a friend with a CNC mill and just CNC mill the surface smooth on the entire plenum. That would look amazing, but I'm sure would take longer than polishing just to write the CNC program to do it!

Yeah I have all the tools to do it, just not sure I have the patience... Did you even all the sides out initially with the flap disk too, then just sand finder then polish?

I'm having my left and right coolant hard pipes shaved and chromed, can I delete the two coolant lines that go to the oil filter block?
I'm already deleting the top crossover silicone hose.
Edit: What about deleting the two that go to the throttle body? I deleted these on another car years ago, so I don't think it's an issue.
After doing more looking around, it looks like the passenger side coolant line is almost useless other than to go to the heater core.... I'm seriously considering deleting the passenger side hard line all together, it's a summer car, I don't need heat! Anybody see an issue with this?
Edit again: Found this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...ater-core.html

From reading that thread it looks like when you delete the bypass, the oil heater/cooler? Lines and the throttle body lines along with the heater core there is no flow to the spring side of the thermostat when the stat is closed. This prevents the thermostat from opening and results in overheating.
There are a couple solutions shown in that thread. I'm going to look more into it tomorrow and think about drilling the thermostat to allow flow. I thinkthat's the easiest solution. I need to be more awake before I come to a conclusion though.

I thinking drilling a hole for bypass in the thermostat is what my solution will be unless I find a major negative or that it won't work in the next week or two before I do it.
