Default I photochoped an Idea for my Z.

What do you all think? I am thinking of powercoating my wheels in a dark color, something like in the picture, lowering my car about a couple inches and tinting the windows? Does it look good? Ideas?

Very, very nice.

Powdercoating is extremely durable as well. It'll never chip or peel.

You know, my wheels looks just like that before washing

The brake dust makes the wheel powercoated already, just don't wash the wheels when you wash the car... j/k..

I like it. If you darkened the door handles, tint the headlight covers a bit, and paint the lug nuts black, your car would be the epitome of a "Darkhorse." I have always liked that look...looks "hardcore" if you know what I mean.

durability with powdered coated wheels should be a problem.

6-7 of my s2000 friends have powder coated wheels stock wheels. they track thier cars several times a year and drive hard on a daily basis, and not 1 person has had a problem with thier wheels.

im looking at powdercoating my wheels but it takes about a week for the shop that does it here in houston. and right now i don't have another car or a set of wheels to borrow while that gets done. at 50$ a wheel you really can't beat that for achieving a "custom" look.

im also looking at picking up a set of gunmetal te37's. anybody have pics of that on a daytona blue Z?

I've had a set of my wheels done for $40 per wheel. I was really surprised to see that it could be done so inexpensively...Plus turnaround was only 1 day!

And like you said, the durability has been great. Not one chip or scuff after 20k of hard driving.

I'd also love to see what it would look like on a DB 350.

Im heading back to school tomarrow, and I can tinker around with my car, which has a DARK tint already in the photo. I plan to just get black TE37s instead of powder coating mine. it WILL look awesome, no doubt.

Ill be sure to post it up once I finish the chop to my satisfaction.

the picture I plan to chop
