Just curious which gallery style you guys think look better. I'm kind of partial to the new one.

Weird. Do you have Macromedia Flash Player installed?

 

Old, your new one is too complicated and you have to keep in mind people with slower connections. Also, scrolling over each thumbnail to get a small glimpse of it takes too long. Having a bigger thumbnail is better so you can actually make out what the picture is before you click on it. Dont get too fancy, you'll lose your focus.

 

Neither. First one is too cluttered and the new one is a PITA to view previews. Just some constructive criticism. Awesome pics by the way!

 

Yea, I feel the original is too cluttered as well. That's why I'm redesigning it. I might take what I like out of the two styles and make another one. We'll see.

Second one froze on me and I have a brand new PC and high speed connection.

 

I'm one who thinks simpler is better since you want something that loads fairly quickly for visitors to check out. I agree the first one is not bad but a bit cluttered & the new one took a little while to load even though I have broadband.

The new style makes it very hard to look through the images. The old style works great. Keep it.

first one is better i think....eaiser to view with less loading time between pictuers

 

new one looks cool but it loads sloooooow and operates kinda quirky

i like the old one better because it loads faster and is straight forward.

 

stick with the original

 

i see lot of professional photographers having a website similar to your new design. while it does look elegant, personally i do not like it that much (simply as a person trying to view images).
also it only loaded thumbnails for me.

i do like your old format better but it does look lil clustered.
