Just started thinking about this Mod last night. I love the look and not to mention my engine bay gets so damn hot that my JWT P/C starts to sizzle - that can't be good. I think th air duct is next on the list but want to see more pics of it installed.

Was also thinking about fabricating some kind of air scoop to get some more cool air into th engine bay / intake while driving (something along the lines of the typhoon air scoop design). Any suggestions?

Alberto,
Hope ya don't mind brother, but I photoshopped your one pic to try a 'paint match' and get a general idea what this might look like on my CS (i will not get a black CF one as I don't have any other black CF, black wheels, etc. on my car).

For others who are curious here is my 1.2 minute photoshop.

I remember seeing a member with a SB who molded his air duct to his bumper. He color matched the outer rim but left the inner portions CF. Looked really good & very clean. Too lazy to look for it now though

LOL at the pic ShayanZ

I dont mind at all. I personally like the Varis CF look especially on DB and on my car with the black wheels-very racey. Another part of me also likes the black Z above, up to you

I think so, engine stays slightly cooler. Recently had a track day and I flogged the car pretty hard-it was a Z only event it never overheated and ran super consitent. Not all due to the duct but I believe it helps cool off intake pipe/turbo and help against heat soak as I never experienced it. I ran two 11.9's @ 115/116mph back to back no heat soak here

What if it rains? Is it okay to have lots of water go into the engine area through the air duct?
