Just got my lights blacked out by a friend. I'm loving it so far. its only been a couple days but my car has already seen rain for two of them and no signs of leakage. i'm trying to post pics now.

i didn't get a diffuser online and i really don't like the amber. so me and my friend who did this for me had an argument mid-process whether to keep them or not. i was going to just leave them out. but he wanted me to keep em cuz it looks more jdm. so we compromise by making the diffuser a dark amber as seen in the pics. he also kept the part of the diffuser where the parking light shines through fully amber so that it'd still be visible. very happy with this decision. i love em!

 

btw, sorry for the crappy pics, its like 3:30 right now and my camera is just point and shoot. the flash doesn't really help. hopefully i can get some better pics up soon.

IMO the amber only looks good on a black car. But good work. take some daytime pics.

 

well you can't really see the amber normally, the flash just seems to have brought it out a lot. the only amber that can be seen is that little section i left amber on purpose, to use parkinglight. yeah, i need to get some day time pics. weather has been pretty bad lately, especially since we had an earthquake yesterday!!

Is that black or gun metal?
