Looks like the initial phase is going well Rick. Can't wait to see the finished product either.
Any other mods planned while the car is gutted, such as relocating the battery? I realize something like that may be unnecessary, just curious.

Are you going to run the cage into the front fenders and attach to the frame there ? Is that legal? I can imagine how much much stiff the car would get on elevation changes with a longer tube in the cage.

am I missing another thread or something? whats the s2k doin there? I thought the motor looked a little small....other then that, the cage work you doing is just plain incredible. whens the last time on the scales? Or do you plan to go get weighed soon?

My cage builder sent me these pics last night from his cell phone. THe rear strut is in, main hoop, etc and will soon be ready to be dimple dyed on the A/B pillars! 





LOL thanks guys! I am excited to see the finished product as well since I know it will be worth waiting for.
