Default Tein S. Tech/Tokico D-Spec Installed *Pics*

Here's a couple of pics after I got my Tein S. Tech and Tokico D-Spec Shocks
installed today.

Stock the day I bought the Z:

Tein S.Tech/Tokico D-Spec:

1st pic is on uneven road, 2nd pic is just a little slanted. This set-up took away quite a bit of wheel gap.
The ride is completely, noticeably superior to the stock ride quality. The steering is a lot more precise and takes away much of the factory sloppiness. Gonna get an alignment in 2 weeks.

thanks. This set-up is perfect in my opinion for those who just want a subtle drop, and want the ability to clean up the ride quality. Im very happy so far, and will keep this set-up for a long time. The springs are off of my roadster which set me back around $150, and the Tokico D-Spec, I got from CVR Motorsports, which is a vendor on this site, and got them for a little over $500. They're the cheapest place that Ive found, and the guys are cool.

Looks good! Just wait for the springs to settle and you'll be happy with the outcome. CVR has great prices and service.

Looks great. That looks like Kalihi Valley in the background? Am I right? Show some Z pride and attend some of the cruises, cause even though there's alot of Z's in Hawaii, too little attend.

hey thanks. yeah, I can't wait till they lower completely. From my experience with Tokico, they add another 1/4-1/2" drop to the springs. I totally recommend CVR for their pricing, service, and fast shipping. I got the shocks within a week of ordering.

actually, its on the windward side. I took a drive around the back pier area on Kam. Hwy, and found that spot before 7-11. I wanna join the cruises, but I want to get a little more done to the Z before that. Gotta change out the wheels, add an exhaust, headers, HFC, TS Reflash, etc...Going full bolt-ons/tune with this Z, and leave it that way till the loan is paid off.

great job on the combo, I have the same setup. It took me about a year or so to replace my stock shocks... man were my stockers GONE!

hey thanks. you like the setup on yours? I think Ive changed the dampening adjustments like 3x time already in the front. I forgot to the change the rear shock adjustment, so I gotta take them out again to change it to the softest setting. The manual recommends softest in the rear, and stiff in the front to reduce the oversteer. I think I might just do that.
