So, is anyone actually knowledgable on how to get this done or know where to buy a "kit" or whatever it would consist of?

with all the money spent they could have gotten nicer rims and a better looking bodykit

(and if you got money to spend, what can we say, you know? we dont have to drive it)
My guess would be to start with a roadster and try to fuse a coupe hatch & pillars to it. I know nothing about what this car looks like underneath its skin, but I know the roadster already has bracing to compensate for the lack of a roof. I really wish it had a targa, or at least a big panoramic sunroof. Not sure if I would have paid extra for it, but it would look cool.
It can be done, look around in the exterior/interior forum. There was a loooooong thread from a year or two ago and I closed it because the deal fell through.
Basically a company on the east coast was going to do it for >$5k but after taking deposits decided to to do it, people couldn't get money back, etc.
So, it can be done, how much are you willing to pay? I don't think its worth it, you'd have to reinforce the body and that would weigh down the car, so, unless its a show car then I would forget about it.
And are the original pics broken or is it just my work server blocking them?

(if i wanted convertible, i wouldve gotten the s2k.. but it was $$)
