Who Says Custom Headlights Have To Be Expensive...DIYFTW
Well, after seeing the custom headlight modifications that several companies offer, but being unwilling to pay that much for something that doesn't actually cost much at all in materials. So I did it myself. For the cost of a few LEDs, a couple voltage regulators, some wire, solder, silicone, paint, sandpaper, and a lot of patience I came up with a result that I think is pretty good.
I changed out the top four LEDs to white. I did this from scratch as trying to desolder the stock circuit boards proved to be a bit frustrating.
I added clear JDM STi lenses, as well as Red, Green, and Blue LEDs for the projector lens color mod, put a CCFL behind the shroud and sanded down the four popular areas for the angel eye effect and blacked out the housings.
I don't have daytime pics, but we all know those aren't the important ones anyway. So.....on to the nighttime pics.
And a couple with the garage lights on...
All comments and criticism are welcome.

post a diy looks awsome.
My only questions, is where did u put the leds for the lens color mod and for the angel eye effect.
looks pro and identical to the sincity at fraction of the cost, good job.

Thank you, thank you. I don't want to post a DIY out of respect for vendors who sell this work to make money. Plus, anyone who would consider doing this themselves, IMHO probably could figure it out. Don't be afraid to try it yourself. I probably didn't position the LEDs for the lens mod in the same place as CiNCity, but I found a way that worked. I also probably didn't do the parking light 4 LED swap the same as CiNCity, as I used PC board and built the circuit entirely from scratch. I'm not sure how they do it, but that worked for me.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments guys

While I agree with that, and while I also agree the CiNCity, AND Clearcorners.com overcharge for the services they provide, I still feel it is not my place to intentionally try to cut into their sales. If someone attempts this on their own and needs help along the way, I would be happy to correspond with them through PM, but I won't be posting a DIY, simply because I wouldn't want that done if I were in their place.
Thanks.
