This is the common misconception I think. IIRC, BBKs do not help you slow down any faster. All they simply do is aid in heat dissapation, which ultimately prevents brake fade correct OP?

those are Rays lugnuts...but the color is like you said a little pinkish when sunlight hits

I myself am thinking off doing a BBK upgrade in the near future. If allen is correct i most definatly will not be spending 3 g's for brakes

@Allen: you sir have not clue about brakes ...i have the same and there is a biiiiiig differnce between the "normal" brakes and a bbk other than "..aid in heat dissapation..".
on a bbk with 6 pistons in front you have a much bigger surface/pads than stock so for that the braking force is also "bigger"....of course they donīt overheat as fast as stock brakes!
