Test drove a JDM 370z: My basic impressions
While visiting a Nissan dealership in Japan, I took the opportunity to take the 370 for a spin. I wish it was the GT-R! The car aesthetically felt very similar to the 370z. As I pulled out of the lot, it started raining so I couldn't push the car as hard as I wanted to.
My first thoughts were that the hood on the 370 felt a lot longer as if I was driving a F-body camaro or something lol. The acceleration of the car was nice, especially with the paddle shift. It was awesome that the car rev matches for you as you downshift, which was a major plus and could be such a huge benefit on a track day. However, utilizing the paddle shift option made me feel less connected with the car since i'm used to driving manuals and rev matching myself. The handling on the car was okay. It felt a bit soft for my tastes, but nothing an aftermarket suspension wouldn't fix.
Anyways on to the pics:

Thanks for the write-up Rick!! The 370 still hasn't grown on me that much, but I'd love to take one for a spin just to see how it compares to the 350. I'll need to stop by a dealer sometime soon.
