Why would you do an 06 front end conversion?
And too OP, Congrats and welcome to the community! Sorry you had to sell the STi, very clean STi. Hope too see your 350z modifed just as clean.

i am sure sti have easy hp upgrade. but Zs are just fine unless you want to race everyday lol i love sti but i love Z because of sporty style. i gave up on speed. too many fast cars out there now and it's really hard to keep up with those powers. if anything you can boost your Z but i will cost you a lot of money. welcome!

Were you a ctsubie guy? I've got alot friends on that site. Welcome to the Z world...i'm sure you'll learn to love your Z expecially when you start to mod. Keep an eye on that NE section.

Welcome to the community. That's a performance downgrade in many aspects, but I can understand the financial situation. Last september I picked up a 2003 WRX as a daily driver / winter "beater" and it costs more to insure that than it does for my 2006 350Z! I can't imagine what an STi costs to insure. But it definitely makes sense why so many people buy a regular WRX and do an STi swap, to save on inurance. My plan is to run the WRX into the ground (when it dies, it dies) and then swap in STi guts, so that I can get my groceries much quicker. Some day...
Enjoy the Z. It's definitely a fun car right out of the box.

Updated first post of two new pics my friend took.
Thank you for the warm welcome! I am part of CTSUBIE and will be attending a lot if not all the subie meets. I will try and get out to Z meets too to meet some new people. I'll be in the NE section for sure.
