I didn't really like the look of the matte cf roofs in the pictures of cars, but once I saw the film in person, I knew I couldn't do just plain gloss. Opinions? I won't get butt hurt, even if you give me **** for the replica wheels
oh yeah, thanks don for the pics, hope you don't mind that i jacked em.

i'm only on day 4 of parking it out in the sun, so we'll see. I usually drive a rental for work, and the car sits in the garage so it wasn't too much of a concern to me. But good question, i'm curious as well. I've heard it's supposed to withstand better than actual cf hoods/roofs etc tho, but who knows.
sweet.......ya keep us posted...........I have a Webasto sunroof, and been wanting to do black roof something..................
my car is always garaged and about once every two weeks ill drive it to work or somewhere on the weekend..........its mainly track driven so im thinking if it holds up with some daily driving sun, then i should be good...

Those pictures looked familiar
I have some more that I'll post up later today for you.
You'll have no problems with it lasting on your roof. It's rated to last 4 years, of sitting outside. So if you garage your car, I would not be surprised if it lasted longer than that (considering you'll even own your car for that long, haha).
If/when you do decide to go peel it off, it'll come off with relatively medium effort. Any residue, if there are any, left behind can be easily taken off by some quick detailer.
I've had guys come back to get different finishes from me before, and have had to remove the vinyl before applying the new one.

not bad even with replica wheels. paint those headlights and get a black front lip asap. Good start tho.
dont care too much for that roof overlay, but it doesnt look bad.
P.S. didnt see you already have something in the front, i think you should change it up to something more noticeable to compliment the wheels/roof lol.

You know what, I used to think the exact same thing about the fake CF. But after I thought about it some more, a real CF overlay is just for looks anyways.
It's funny, I actually used to drive a civic. 96 coupe w/ b18c motor. Thing was faster than my Z and I actually tracked it. I was less "ricey" with a civic than the Z

(black one was mine)

Might just be the pictures, but the roof seems overly dull compared to the paint. I was wanting to possibly do my roof with the 3M, but right now I have some being shipped to my door for the interior instead. It just seems like something that you have to see in person...
