Personally speaking only.... I think those strips of LED lights on cars (especially the Audis) make them look cheap. Note I didn't say anything about visibility enhancement.... just makes me think "toy".
Like I said, just my take.

I have the clear ones myself, thinking of blacking them out though.

Swapped out my wheels and installed coilovers. I like the oem headlights they way they are.

I just got my 295s out back.
I drive sensibly, but prolly gonna get the $60 white markers from Z1.
No sense in attracting more attention from da popo w bright azz LEDs.

love my leds.. why would that get attention from popo?
I'm considering an upgrade to a light bar like on the higher end cars since every car has the damned leds now
Similar to the solid light in new GTR headlight
