I bought this car in 2009 from a guy near Orlando, FL and brought it home to Minnesota. The day I bought it, it looked like this:
Needless to say it didn't stay like that for long. I did a ton of different upgrades to it, and then when I finally figured out what I really wanted from the car I re-did everything... And did it right!
Vertex Front Bumper and rocker panels. INGS+1 Rear bumper. Stillen Wing
OEM Black colored roof and pillars. Custom color "Maximum Steel" on rest of car.
19" Luxury Abstract Wheels in front of Powered by Max coilovers and GReddy brakes.
Vision X fog lights, Black Top Racing custom modified headlights, and GTR Lighting HID and LED bulbs.
Interior is all custom carbon fiber (real, not vinyl or overlay), suede and leather.
HKS Hi-Power exhaust, Kinitex intake, and JWT clutch/flywheel. Also, this car runs a 125hp shot of nitrous from a custom built nitrous system using mostly NX and NOS parts.
It's been a long time since being to a track, but yea. Best 1/4 mile time numbers I had were about 2 years ago with nitrous: 13.2 seconds. I don't remember reaction times or mph, but I'll be going again this year with the new build completed.
I got bored with drag racing for a while though and spent some time doing auto cross. It did OK in that type of race also.
Impressive going from first picture (what was going on with the bumper?) to the final product. Always nice seeing these transformations brings a tear to my eye....
So youre the baller that dropped 5k on that greddy brake kit.... haha kinda glad you did, cause i was about to buy it myself. 😂
What's funny about these brakes is I was hell-bent on getting them to fit... I had already purchased the custom-sized set of wheels though, and they would not clear the f-ing brakes!! So, we had to machine the front wheels and make custom spacers to get it all to fit right. Now there's maybe 1mm of clearance between the wheel and the brake calipers!! They do look nice though.

Thanks for the kind words!
The previous owner liked the look of a leather bra on a 350z... so that's what it had. Of course that got ripped off as soon as we made it the 2,000 mile trip back home!
