I really appreciate your insight and the time you took to run through your experience.
I did end up getting VQ exhaust flanges from Mazworks and they are very very nice - happy I went with them.
I didn't think sch 10 would warp at all! I'm using sch10 1.5" (1.9" OD / 1.68"ID) and I'll keep that in mind. Right now I'm just tacked up. I bought a collector from Elmers that should be here next week and I cant really move too much forward until I get the collector.
I'm trying to give myself healthy tolerances between pipes and I've left my runners a few CMs long at the 50% complete point I'm currently at.
I was also going to install at least 3 1.9" bellow sections to account for my fabrication tolerances and heat/cooling expansion.
You do have tighter tolerances than myself and/or most!
Been quiet on here recently as I've been spending pretty much every hour of the day working on the car desperately trying to get it ready in time for the start of the British Drift Championship. But yeah, made lots of progress and here's what it looks like now:
Also made an extra reservoir / swirl pot for the turbo coolant to drain back to as apparently this solved a lot of coolant issues for other people with twins on these cars:
Finally got everything put back together for (hopefully) the final time and actually started it up for the first time today!
A few tiny issues like one small coolant leak from the wastegate coolant line, but other than that it went pretty smoothly. Going for mapping in about a week, so we will see if it all holds together then
Yeah I got sick of dealing with that awkward thing lol so much easier now having everything accessible in the back. Although making a firewall to separate that area from the cabin isn't easy

any way you can put it on a scale and get a weight?
Finally got the car to the dyno for mapping and was quite surprised how much power it made considering I built this to be super responsive and somewhere between 400 and 500 bhp at the flywheel...
So yeah it turned out to be around 600 bhp at the flywheel (547 hp at the wheels) and 527 lb ft of torque. Obviously it starts to drop off at the top end as you'd expect from turbos that were chosen for fast spool up, but still making 450 whp at the 7200 redline even after its dropped off.
Here's a comparison of torque from my car when it was NA (the green dotted line at the bottom), then the twin turbo setup at 30% throttle (light blue line), 50%, 75%, and then the dotted blue line at the top is 100% throttle:
Same for horsepower at the hubs:
Here's a video of the dyno runs and some more explanation:
