I am meeting up with a friend who lives in Rowlett. From there I am following him. We plan on leaving around 7ish. I am not at all familiar with that side of town. Is McKinney near Rowlett? Perhaps we can meet there some place.

 

two 14.01 runs both at 101.2mph, and both with 2.13 60fts and .3 rt. Kinda pissed right now. Time to drink some beer!

 

Hi Guys; how'd it go?
I ran 3 times at HRP lastnight and finally broke into the 13's on my 1st run, but went down hill after that. My 3rd run was with a Z28, and I wasn't paying attention to my rmp and launched too fast and smoked the tires. Ran a 15.201 and got whopped by that Z28

Anyway, here's my times:

Hey Bro, don't feel bad. Look at my 15 second run. I did go drink beer after that. I'm sure that Z28 got a kick out of that. That was my worst run ever...

All this was done with a hefty JL 10W7, 2 amps with custom enclosure and other unessesary stuff in the back. Mod bug is bitting me HARD again.

Sorry I had to leave early last night. I would've loved to stay the entire time like I usually do, but something came up. But you guys know me. I'm obsessed with drag racing and I'll be setting up more drag race days for us.

Creed - I'm glad you were able to break into the 13s last night, and a 13.7 at that. Congrats. Now the real challenge is - can you replicate that at our track? Hope to see you at our track soon. Good job and keep it up.

amsweigart@hotm - It was nice meeting you. I was really surprised that you got a 2.0 on your first run, but I guess that was a fluke. jk.. Anyway, I have a feeling that if you keep practicing, you'll become above average, in terms of skill. I hope to see you at the next one.

Thanks Dude! Yes, we need to get all of the ZCOH folk as possible, and come and meet you guys. Matt is our events VP, and a run to Dallas would be great.

What would they do with say 30+ Z's at the track, LOL

 

That's a lot of Zs and I'm sure I can round up a few people from the DFW area as well. Most of the guys here don't like running there cars. They're all show, no go. I'm the exact opposite and you can tell when you see my car. But if we can get that many or more Z's, I can try and call the track and ask for some kind of discount.

We don't exactly have a club, per se, nor do we have any event planner. All I set up are the dyno days and the track days.

 

I hope everybody comes out on April 6th to see Chris and me race on the track. Im driving 9 hours in my Z to Dallas just to race and have fun.

Well, we'd all have to agree on a date and then see if a discount's even possible with the track people. They know me now, since I go there pretty often. So let's all decide on the possible dates, how many would actually show up (not just say they'll go and not show up like most people do), and if people are even racing or not.

Are you serious? Looks like you have a few mods and you should kick my ***. I'm thinking that from no on I aint drinking until I'm trhough racing and see if that helps. I'm so dang nervous I gulp down 2 or 3 beers before I head out to the track and then drink a tall boy between passes
