OK, there's another race day coming up this Friday.. It'll probably just me again, but who knows?
And for those with nitrous kits, it's free nitrous night.
Bring $15 to race.
Doors open at 8:00PM and race from 9:00PM - 2:00AM.

I just need to get used to them is all, since I'm too used to launching on streets. The middle runs were very consistent and good, though, all landing right around 13.5 @ 102.
Anyway, 13.4 is danged good. I have a question for you.
How in the sam hell, in my stock down-2-the-tires 2006 350Z am I beating KevinZ 2005 350Z, who has modded everything you can bolt on, wider rear tires, piggy back thingy on his ecu, and tuned by sgp racing?
We ran it 3 times last Friday night, and to my surprise I got him out of the hole all 3 times and he could never catch me. I'm weighing in at 3410 lbs.
I weigh 138 lbs. Is that it you think? my stock potenzas? (My friends call me "flaco" which means skinny)
I'm going to try launching different next time I go to see if I can get my 60' times below 2 seconds - per your suggestions...

Actually, I'm now at 13.212.
This thread's only alive because every once in a while, I let the people know that there's a race coming up. I shouldn't bother, since nobody cares enough to show, or even respond for that matter.
As for you beating a car that has much more bolt-ons with a tune in your stock car, I really don't have a clue. I haven't seen either of your cars, so I can't even begin to assume.
BTW, if anything, your stock potenzas should hurt your times. I'm just guessing that his car was just low on power to begin with and his mods helped it bring it up to par with other stock Z's. Either that, or your car just puts down more power.
However, you have to know that it's not just about peak power. What matters the most is how much area you have under the graph. You probably just have more overall power than he does. Also, on the track, your driving ability will show as you need to concentrate on not only shifting, but also launching. Usually, the person who launches better will hold his/her ground until the end of the quarter, if the cars are similar in power. Remember, our Zs don't respond too well to NA bolt-ons.
