OKay guys, here is the next TMS EVENT!!!! We had a great turn out at the last one, Aug 7th, event #6!

8 runs!!!
AUTOCROSS!!!!!

Not the local SCCA 3 runs and your done for the day.......8 runs with Lone Star BMW Club AutoX event.

The event will be at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (BUS LOT). So there are NO TREES, NO POLES! great for the first timer! Restrooms are walking distance from pit area and makes this venue location very accommodating with near by restaurants as well, etc.

COST:
Registration isn't up yet, but its usually $35 dollars to enter.


You can see the AutoX tire marks in the Asphalt!

This location is 10 second walking distance from restrooms shown in the pic - the restrooms have showers as well and are open for us to use! Nice clean facility as well.

okay guys............the bringing food is voluntarry, if you guys dont want to cook out we dont have too....
If you choose to buy a lunch or go off to subway, etc is fine, but you must contribute to eat the BBQ as I plan on purchasing just enough for those that participate!!!

So if you sign up to race, and have OTHER lunch plans then just notate that at the end of your name so we know not to count you for the BBQ headcount.

Between me and nugetron we have:
Jason - burgers and buns.
Nugetron - Chips/Snacks, plates and napkins

Racing ends like at 3/4pm or so....

we just did BBQ during the lunch hour that the event breaks for lunch.

I will be going and bringing the grill, trash can, sand bags, and a pop up 10' X 10' canopy and chairs.

I will bring plates, napkins, utensils, etc....

Yes it's on a Sunday and I'm off work. I'm there! I'll be watching unfortunately even though I badly want to drive, just dint wanna risk it considering my trans will only be a week old.

come on you guys...you don't have to have any mods done to your car....just come out & race to your own ability. There is no place you can drive your car so aggressively without getting a ticket.

 

Does anybody have one of those 5 or 10 gallon water jug things? If we could get one of those we could just do the powdered Gatorade and it would be alot cheaper.

 

I have one....so I'll bring it full of Ice & gatorade....good idea.

 

I would love to come, but would rather watch this time around since I'm a autox virgin and all that. If I could bum a few ride alongs that would be sweet.

My girlfriend Michelle is also coming which is awesome since she's never been interested in this kinda stuff. She can bake some brownies and or cookies and they're freakin delicious lol. Jason if it's not a problem, I'd appreciate it of she could do a ride along with you as well. She's really excited about it lol.
Just don't steal my gf . We're also going to bring some disposable cups for the Gatorade and stuff.

 

Jake you should make sure ezpotato knows about this lol. Get that super g out there!
