Wanted to let all of yall in the DFW area know about an upcoming custom car show. It will be on Saturday, October 15th from 10am-5pm. . It will be held in the parking lot of the Rosemeade Recreation Center located at 1330 W. Rosemeade Pkwy, Carrollton, TX. Entry fee is $20 if registered before October 1st, and $25 after that. All Proceeds will go to benefit the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Marshall’s BBQ we be on site selling food and drinks. Thanks for the help Jake! We are hoping for a big turnout. We would like to see this become an yearly event, but we need to make this first one a success in order for there to be more. We may be getting a local radio station to do a live broadcast as well as getting some vendors like Mothers and possibly Harley Davidson. Does anyone know if we still have anyone on the site from a Nissan Dealer in the area that would be interested in being a sponsor and maybe bringing a 370Z to the show??? Or a GTR. I won't complain either way?

 

Just wanted to add some more info about the Car show. There are six categoires with seven plaques being awarded at the conclusion of the event.

 

I should be able to make it out - doubt I will show...but I will see if I can get some peops involved..

Just wanted to let yall know Firestone crapped out on us. Said they weren't gonna make it. So yesterday we started talking to some folks at Goodyear. They are gonna try to get some stuff together for the show, but are not sure what, since it's so last minute. I didn't want someone to show up for free tires and be disappointed.

 

Sorry - already have other commitments that Im not missing out on. Next time..
