Default [HOU] Grandsport Speedway HPDE 4/22 $100 for all nissans!

High Performance Driver Education (HPDE)
Drive Your Own Car at Grandsport Speedway

April 22nd, 2012 is the next track day!

All cars are welcome!

All Nissan are only $100 for the day! (Including novices)

Groove union is designed specially for owners who want to drive in their own street car or racecar at GrandSport. We have several different run groups from raw novices with no experience to season pro's! If you do not have any track experience we can teach you the high performance skills in our novice class to drive your car on the track!
Novice

This is the first timer/beginners group. You will learn the basics of high performance driving. Instructors will work with you all the time to get you up to speed with others of your level. No passing is allowed. Novice level also includes the all important track etiquette information which includes how to get on and off the track safely, flags and track etiquette. Once you have mastered this level and a instructor has signed you off you can advance to the Bronze group. You may be asked to complete a multiple choice knowledge test before you are allowed on the track.

$225 per day(Sign up on line in advance and save $25 if you are one of the first 5 to sign up in your group)

Bronze

The bronze group is for drivers with limited track experience or those that have advanced from the Novice Group. Drivers in the Bronze Group will work under the direct supervision of an instructor. An instructor may ride along if asked by the student or an instructor may request to ride long with any driver in this group. Driver may lap on their own if the instructor directs them to. No passing is allowed. If a Bronze Group driver gets slowed behind traffic they will pull into the hot pit area and then a track official will place them onto the track in an area where they have more room to run. Sessions will be controlled with flags. You may be asked to complete a multiple choice knowledge test before you are allowed on the track.

$175 per day (Sign up on line in advance and save $25 if you are one of the first 5 to sign up in your group)

Silver

The Silver Group is for drivers that have advanced from the Bronze Group or drivers with several track days experience. Passing is allowed in designated areas and all passing must be completed before a point marked with cones. Sessions will be controlled with flags. You may be asked to complete a multiple choice knowledge test before you are allowed on the track.

$175 per day (Sign up on line in advance and save $25 if you are one of the first 5 to sign up in your group)

Gold

The Gold group is a run group where you go out and work on your skills and build seat time all by yourself. Passing is allowed in designated areas or when pointed by. You can run in this group with your piers as long as you like. If you wish to learn how to teach others between sessions while building seat time you can become an instructor and run for free. You may be asked to complete a multiple choice knowledge test before you are allowed on the track.

$175 per day(Sign up on line in advance and save $25 if you are one of the first 5 to sign up in your group)

Instructor

In this group you run for free for fun, build your skills and instruct in the other groups. Instructors run with the Gold or race group.
