chesapeake area here, well, back and forth between NC, but the Z stays up here! yeah ive seen quite a few z33's around town and interstates, i swear i think victory nissan has sold tidewater half a boatload of them, and a lot of them are roadsters.

Pretty sweet, call me ricer but I love my BOV, adds for lots of slipping of the rear stockers and clutch is starting to go due to the abundant horses. Once you go FI you can't go back . Supposedly there's another black 350z running around with the TT kit in the area.

i bet- i cant imagine driving a TT 350, i probably would have had to buy new seats by now. did you do the install yourself? if i ever went that route i think i would do most of manual labor at home, then drop it off to be tuned somewheres, but im a little hesitant on which shops i would entrust it to. have you been to dinwiddie or any track with it yet?

yep, got it at performance
took a bit of getting used to, the noise can be pretty annoying, but once you get the feel for the power, you'll never go back (at least i know i won't )
if i'm not being very careful with my launches, i'll roast the tires through 1st, 2nd, and the beginning of 3rd...
3.917 is on the way (performance is backordered on crush sleeves and pinion nuts, so not until next week)
if you've got any pointers on good places to get rims around here, i'm looking for a pair of 9.5's and a pair of 10.5's... maybe raching harts... throw some potenza on there and that'll hopefully be the end of my traction woes.
i got your IM, but i was already out, but i'll be around all day today

Cool. I think my next mods are going to be getting the ECU flash and AAM fuel return system. If anyone else is interested in having a fun road trip probably the 3rd weekend in February, let me know so I can talk to AAM about getting our vehicles done at a certain day. A guy in my car club offered to let me crash for a night while up there so I might be able to swing a few more people there.

yeah, i'm going to need reflash / fuel upgrades here pretty soon, myself
shame that i'm going to be up in NY that weekend
well, hopefully soon we can get together -- if this snow ever stops, arg!

I live in Chesapeake and was looking for someone around this area that was F/I so I could check it out to see if I should go TT or Supercharger. I have been looking at SGP for the Ultimate Shortblock they offer, and also get my tq converter and valve body done their. I will be going to AAM for install and tuning. I would get SGP to do everything but it is so far away from here. Too bad because they have done some awesome work so far. If you check out their website and look at customer cars you will see that they know what they are doing. I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up some time so I could check out their car with F/I and find out some things for my rebuild. Thanks

i think i'm just going to stick all motor stroke a bit and up the compression.
anyone know a good shop where we could do a dyno day or something around here? it'd be a lot easier that driving all the way up to AAM, but it looks like i might have to do that anyway.

The next TZCC meeting is Monday, February 14th. Hmm, I could be off, but I'm guessing attendance will be light.
I'm the motorsports chairman this year, and I'm putting together a dyno day at Virginia Speed in Virginia Beach for members. Va Speed is a first class shop with an in-ground Dynojet.
