The only reason I would ever get a Evo MR is for handling if I ever got big on Auto X.. but other wise... the Z is better overall!

I have had an evo and switched to the z. Bottom line is that the z is for looks and the evo for pure driving exhiliration. I spent roughly $1700 on my evo and was making 350 AWHP with no fear of engine internal failure. Don't get me wrong I love the z but the evo is a heckuva different and (other then visually) heckuva better car.

Probably it's because Nissan made more Z's than Mitsubishi made evos.

Each car has its purpose, Evo is a rally inspired car, while Z is a pure sports car. I wouldnt mix both and compare, if I am buying a sports car I wouldnt buy a rally car. Any car can be made fast, if making it fast is your ultimate goal, then you can spend lot less money than the Z or Evo and be faster than them.
