I knew if someone was going to come along and prove me wrong, it would be you, ya dirty rotten son of a *****.
So I guess I should say that based on MY EXPERIENCE, these are the difficulties with passing emissions with no cats.
Do you have O2 stand-offs on your car?
How you been brother?

that's probably the difference. My car didn't have them. Every time I would drive the 50+ miles needed for all of the sensors to report status, my CEL would come back on. I'd reset it and then try to test before the sensors had enough miles to set report their status as 'ready'. What a PITA that was. Not like the Viper has been any more trouble-free though.

I have jwt tt. and strut non res test pipes. what i did is have dave@functioned reset the codes and drive on it. you must have o2 sensors though. if you know someone who has a tool to check all the codes that would help cause if i remember correctly you can only fail a max of 4 tests before you fail. as long as the computer doesnt read it your good.

The new test does not read any sensor levels. The VIN is tied into the system too, so you can't use another car to pass. As long as you don't have a check engine light you're golden no matter if you have cats or not. I just had my S2K run though, it passed with flying colors.

I got the same think as Keith off Dobbin Alberto. She came out... looked...tried to slide this thing under... then told me to go out front. I can't imagine they'd force you to go through. Just ***** and moan about hitting the bottom..blah...blah...blah if they try and make you go thru.

I know that Dave@F:T can reflash the ecu now to turn the cels off permenantly, but he could not tell me for sure if the sensor reads as pending or it just doesn't read the sensor at all. I am getting a reflash next week and hope to have the definative answer on this shortly after. Emissions here in PA is the same, no sniffer, but they plug you in and you are only allowed 1 pending code I believe.

Bert it was the one in owings mills.I sat in line for like 10 minutes and when i was next they came up to me and said pull over to the side of the building.I was utoh and he told me to come inside where i was told it was to low and i got a 2 year waiver.
The thing that got me was all i had on was the greddy front and sides and i was not lowered like i am now.
