new years and christmas are over, that is the best news for 2007!!! did anyone spot any sobriety checkpoints in thier travels this holiday season if so when and where as i heard the ad's on radio, saw them in the paper and on tv but yet again from canton (baltimore city) to belair md (exit 77 i95) not a single cop or checkpoint. tax money hard at work as usual!!

 

There was on on the 50/28 headed out towards South Reading. They have it about every 3 months though (right on the boarder of Fairfax county and Louden county) so I would hardly call it a special like they were saying. I wasn't out much on the holiday, but from what I heard, it was all smoke and mirrors. God I hate VA. I need to move away!

I didnt leave the city until 6:00am so no I didnt run into any check points. Man, did I have a blast!

 

I went from Riverside, MD (Exit 80) to Jessup, MD (Exit 38) on I-95 at 3:30 in the morning and saw nothing but drunks.

 

^ +1, no strike force in sight

 

My parents said there were check points going into somerset county. They were headed to a party and got stopped going there and back (8-9pm) and (5-6am)

 

There was one on Route 7 in Tysons, i think on Friday night

 

+1 on the drunks!

 

I was actually disappointed, I saw 0 checkpoints this past weekend. I knew of a few people who were driving drunk despite all the radio air time. I guess they'll have to start backing up all of their commercials.
