Default Strup Header Install Special

Function:TUNED is proud to announce our
STRUP HEADER INSTALL PACKAGE.

Headers, especially the Strup headers, are one of the best performance upgrades to NA Z/G’s. Here at Function:TUNED we realize that once the labor price is factored in headers can become a little unreasonable for the expected HP gains. We aim to solve this by offering our STRUP HEADER INSTALL PACKAGE. We decided on the Strup headers specifically for their overall production quality, fitment, and power gains. As you can see from the dyno graphs below the Strup headers gain horsepower across the board from the start of the graph al the way through redline. More Importantly the Strup headers can generally gain you 15 to 22 lb/ft of torque in the midrange starting at about 3000rpm through 5000rpm. This is where you will really FEEL the difference. Peak HP is a great indicator of total power but it’s also only one point on the graph. Just take a look at these dyno charts and you can see that the so-called “area under the curve” is huge!

Strup Header Specs
  • T-304 #1 grade stainless steel tubing
  • Polished to a bright luster.
  • 1 5/8” mandrel bent tubing X .065 wall thickness.
  • Flange is 3/8” thick stainless steel.
  • All headers are TIG welded construction.
  • Provides 14-15 horsepower gains.

Yes. All I have to say is they have THE BEST service and the cleanest shop you have ever seen. If I was still NA I would be all over this. Its a hell of a deal.

I saw Dave at Fur a while ago and told me he was openning his own shop but I didn't remember the name so I was wondering. It is a hell of a deal and if I knew I was going to go SC then I would do this as well. Dave is a h*ll of a guy and I wouldn't expect anything less from him. Props for openning your own place Dave.

My Strup headers were installed by Dave and he did a hell of a job. His attention to detail and customer service are unmatched.

As far as state inspections go, I know here in MD if you're not throwing a code you pass. The headers will not make you throw a code. The test pipes might if you didn't have the simulators, but Dave's throwing them in for free. A great deal from a great shop.

Wow... this is a hell of a deal. If I had my Z still and was in NoVA I'd jump all over this... and I don't even like people doing my work.

I keep hearing nothing but good things from the old Mid-A crew about you guys... keep up the good work.

Tony (thinks all N/A guys staying N/A in the area are retards if they don't jump on this)

I was contemplatin on goin FI soon but the $$ and pain I will probably suffer outweighed the gains I can get. I shall jump on this deal within the month. Hope this offer is good til then.

Dave do you have a dyno at the shop? I would also like to get a pre install dyno and after to make me feel that my money was not wasted =)

Will I need a tune after the headers?

Current mods are MREV+ spacer, popcharger, test pipes, nismo catback

It would be good to get a tune, but do you have a form of EMS to do it with? Even if you don't you would probably just lean out a little bit, nothing major. I bet that setup with a UTEC and in Dave's capable hands, you could probably get a nice HP gain! Definatly be one of the quicker Z's!

PS can you PM me some tranny prices if you have/can get ahold of any =)
