David Id highly reconsider the date you re-scheduled, many people, possibly most will be attending the already set-up and for a good cause CP meet. I'll be in CP on the 29th if the weather is nice.

 

How would other folks feel about the 22nd? Long range weather prediction calls for 62 degrees, mostly sunny. That still too much on the chilly side?

 

Good point ... All the proceeds (canned foods and money) go to charity (Martha's Table).

 

When we went in Jan it was like 52 for the high...the mountains yeilded a high of 49 I think for the day....What I am excited about is the spring colors...last time we went it look like death hanging on a life line..lol.

Either way, now that so many people are aware of the Skyline Drive and its ability to satify even the most tame of drivers...I dont think we will have any problems setting up 2 or 3 drives for the upcoming weeks! We can always go, and you can always go by yourself. They wife and I will go up this spring, rent a log cabin and chill for a weekend of hiking and no cell phones ringing...lol. PS...MoringingG...that is me hanging out of the sunroof of my G while SIAMESE is driving to Skyline Drive.....lol

I am going to start a new post for May 5th....as an alternate date.? I will post it as the Unofficial Skyline drive alternated date movement.

 

I'm out then, will be out of town for the rest of the summer.

Looks like the weather will be nice on the 22nd, so I'll be going for a drive anyway. Last night the weather guy was predicting 70 degrees and sunny.
