Whats up guys? Just a quick question for those of you with tinted windows. I want to get 30% wrapped all around and just wanted to know how often you guys get pulled over because of it. Thanks.

 

hMmmm... never? Tint isnt a big deal unless you're already pulled over and they try to find more things to fine you with.

 

With 30% you're most likely not to get pulled for. If you get pulled over, open the windows and turn the interior dome lights on to lighten it up so the officer can see in. 30% is the most popular with our customers at Fresh Designs and I'd say about 5% of those have gotten messed with. And out of those nearly all were in D.C. where the tint laws are very strict.

 

I've got 20% all around, never messed around with, should've got 5%, hopefully one day I'll get a fix it ticket so I can go get 5% lol

 

Doubt you'll get messed with for 30%, I have 35% all around.

I'm pretty sure I'd get pulled with anything darker, hell everytime I drive down Rockville Pike I have a cop tailing me.

I have 30% on the sides and 35% on the back I got it done In C.P talk to Driven1 they do A great job I wish I would have did 20% on the sides never had a problem with my tint and I drive my car all over the place.

 

Ive been pulled over for just having 20% tint. I was given an inspection notice at that point, but I know "people" who took care of signing off for me. Ive also received a warning for my tint.

i had 35% on my IS300.. pulled over 3 times.. and got ticket all times..

may be because im a ricer..

 

got pulled over for my 35%...but i think the cop just wanted to look at my car. After he gave me the ticket he said my car was the nicest one he has pulled over in a long time.

 

Find out what is legal in your state.

 

35% in MD is legal.

 

50% front 35% rear and back in VA

 

I have 50% all around (perfectly legal in VA) and believe it or not, I got pulled over. I wish I had gone darker but still, the look on the cop's face after the machine read my windows as legal was worth the price of admission.

 

I have 50% up front and 35% in the rear with 35% windshield sun shade
and have been pulled a few times ,Im leagal but on superblack it makes it look
darker.

 

You got tickets on all of them even though 35% is legal? What gives?
