Default The Z's replacement

'97 328i
ERT/Dinan Supercharger at 6psi
Eurobahn Aftercooler kit
TC Kline Coilovers 450lb/500lb rate
TC Kline Camber Plates
TC Kline Delrin RTABs
ZKW's
Bridgestone RE-01R's

~3100 lbs, 290whp on 6psi with small injectors and base tune. With 30lb injectors, bigger fuel pump, 3.5" HFM and smaller pulley it should make 380 to 400whp on 11psi. Any more boost than this and I'll need to look into a thicker head gasket.

Maybe I'll see you guys at Chic Fil A tonight.

No, I still have the Z. Parting out the mods starting tomorrow and then will try to sell it as close to stock as possible. This BMW was built up by a friend of mine in Richmond over the past few years. He then bought a motorcycle and lost interest in the Bimmer. It was almost robbery at the price I paid... $8900. I bought the coilovers a few days ago and am wrapping up the install today.

Honestly the Z and the BMW feel almost the same down low however over 3500 rpm the BMW pulls a ton harder.

I used to have a 328is, great car. At least you have 4 seats.

They definitely "feel" fast, I'm sure the supercharger dramatically helps.

I'm kind of surprised you just didn't supercharge the Z?

Wow, nice car. Always been a BMW fan, just got my wife a E46 323i. Great cars.

Are you gonna run it at Hyper-fest?

Depending on what you've got dibs on. I pulled all the suspension stuff today. PM me for contact info!

You know I was really thinking about it but I have a sweet spot in for E36's and I'm honestly not confident enough in the VQ engine to track with a Vortech on it.

I wish man, I'm on the wait list. My first Time Trial may be in July at VIR on the 28-29th and I'll be on the Shenadoah Circuit again a both weekends prior, one with BMWCCA and another with Ferrari of Washington.
