Default ISO wrecked bike.

R1/RR/10R/GSXR1000/RC51/TLS Im also open to other bike ideas in the 750-1200cc range.

Looking for fuel injected. lower miles (under 15K). motor/tranny in great shape.
Something that can be ridden but needs all new plastics/tank/other cosmetics things

Title must be paid for with no lien. Salvaged title is ok, however a clean title is preferred.

bike must be local to Anne Arundel county. at least within 30 miles so I can see it and start it in person.

Mine is FS for $5,000 or best offer. 03 Gixxer 600 with a 750 swapped in, full Ti-Force Ti exhaust, K&N air filter, TRE, and a PCIII. Has a clean title too, and is custom painted DB(same color as a blue 350Z). It also has a CF, rear hugger, CF front fender(in customs), CF windscreen, CF mirrors Chicane style mirrors, CF look brake/clutch levers, and Vortex frame sliders. The bike is having new Michelin 2CTs put on which are the best tires out there at the moment and are costing me $315+install.

There are minor scratches on the right side from me dropping it at 0-15mph on a cold night in February.

5k for 03 600 with swithced motor? not that good of a deal and looking at the fact that it has been repainted 9/10 means it wnet down. Sorry if it seems harsh and best of luck to you on the sale but Im not a fan of wrecked bikes.

Went down back in February going 0-maybe 15MPH, you can ask the people who've seen it, it's not that bad, maybe a little sanding/fiberglass/paint($50-$75) and you're good to go. I had it painted so it would match my car, a DB 350Z. Also, 5K for a swapped engine with only 5,500 on the motor and 7,000 on the bike, is a good deal, because you can get 750 performance with the insurance price of a 600, which if you don't have a bike you won't know, can be a big difference depending on your driving record/insurance company.

I'm not really in a rush to sell it over here, b/c I've got a couple of other people coming to look at it this weekend. I'm going to get a 954, most likely then, next year get a new 1000 and turn the 954 into a track bike.

Thats what I was thinking. Is this the pre fuel injected year? cant rem if that was 03-04 they came F.I I used to have a 03 gsxr 1000 then a 05 1000. hint the name K3silk. But since left suzuki for Kawi. now ride a zx10 but in the end all the same. As for the insurance part he is right. it will save ya a couple bucks.

One of these upcoming weekends we'll go out to 55 then Carters Run then 211. It's pretty much all knee down stuff with some high speed straights. Only a certain amount of people though, not like 30 cars or anything, and it will be tough. Then we can have a couple of runs, Nowell and I, Berto and I, whoever vs. whoever.

K3, yea it's fuel injected. Also, get off the bike more man.

I ran bert with my bike from a 80 or 90ish roll. bert walked by me. sure I was only on a 2002 CBR600 but then again bert had 200less WHP at the time. I think anything less then a new 1000cc bike (160hp+) bert will take it.
now from a dead stock on the street. that's a different story. I have no doubt in my mind that even my CBR600 would take bert to 80. If bert had some slicks on then it would be a different story.

Either way I think you two should race. put some money on it =)

I'll put $20.00 on bert.

Ghost my bike is spotless. I'm looking for a beater bike. I need something I can ride to and from work, both on the highway and backroads. I want to build myself a high powered, well handling street fighter.

Before

After

Idea is to find a wrecked bike for cheap 2-4K and build it into whatever I want.

I have a few bikes that have came up on my radar. One is a 99 R1 that looks pretty damn good (already modded) for $3300 I bet I could get it for high 2K.

As far as the GSXR600 with the 750. its a nice bike but no thanks. price is a bit steep and for a bike that modded. I don't want to have to deal with any issues down the road. I'd rather keep a 100% stock power plant in my bike with minor mods.

Sh*t are you all doing this from a roll or from a stop? I'm game for a run or two.

Jeffie, I met a guy who owns a bike shop on Route 1 awhile back. He was selling wrecked bikes he rebuilt for dirt cheap. I didn't buy from him for that reason, but he may have something you're looking for. I'll try and look him up if you're interested.

see if you can find an e-mail addy for me.
Most people run away from crashed/rebuilt bikes because of the salvaged title.
As long as the motor/tranny are straight and the miles are not to bad. I don't mind so much, all depends on the price.

Jeffie if you want a real beater bike you can always buy my F2...It needs a little electrical work but for $900 you can't beat it.

I'm trying to keep it newer, keep in mind my beater car is a 2004 Acura TL. so when I say beater I mean it's going to be kick *** but not 100% perfect so I can put some miles on it with being too worried about cleaning it lol.
I plan to put some time/money into it to make it a nice custom bike. I'd rather buy a crashed bike for 2-3K then sink a few more grand into it then to buy a new bike.

Idea is 2000+ I'd like an R1 or newer style 1000cc bike. naked ZX10R anyone?
