I recommend that we pay in advance. With meets like this, there will be a difference between those who sign-up, and those who show. Sending aceman $100 will ensure that he has the money to pay for the rental. If we cannot get a minimum number of people to pay, then this may be futile.

Like Maryland International Raceway, Mason Dixon will provide minimum manning. We take care of the time slips and water. I sure hope that we get time slips.
Sounds good to me. I would like to be able to rent the track sometime in the next week or so.

If you guys want to go ahead a paypal me then lets get this started.

My paypal is Creek2side@yahoo.com

At this point we are looking at $80 a piece. If we get more to sign up and pay, i will reinburse everyone the difference at the track.

Right now i need to have a total of around $800 to lock the track down.

Let me know when you guys send the money and then i will update the list with a paid by your name.

Thanks
Todd

$80 Sent

Todd-did you ask if we could have a 10-30 minute window for those that want race gas? They did this at MIR for us, we had 30 minutes to fill up and they closed the station down.

GOOEY-did you order a clutch? If your still running the stocker I suggest you get on in before the track day or its toast after a few runs...
No clutch yet. The stock one only stuck once. Now that I launch the car around 3k I have yet to have a problem. Pulled 2.0 60's with the 19's on past weekend at capital. My final drive is here! Just waiting for the new diff cover and test pipes to arrive.

2. Are we handing out the slips? We had to cut and hand ou tthe slips at MIR, they didnt provide somebody to stand there all day and do it. Id expect the same here.

3. Did you factor the cost of the lights on into the price?

4. Are we handling the water box and lining people up? Same as above-we did this for ourselves at MIR, it was really nice for us to all take turns spraying water down for each other.

*No way to sneek this question in, and Im hoping they dont-but even though its a private track event, Im hoping they dont require me to have a cage after I run. But dont ask them, I'll have to find out when I get there...

5. On regular test and tune days at Cecil, they sell nitrous at the track. Any chance they'll be doing this at M/D on our track day?

Well this is kinda tough to answer. The $80 is what it cost if there are 20 people that pay to run their car. If we only get 15 that pay then it will be more. I hope we get more people to pay and run to bring the price down. As it is right now, I need $800 total to rent the track. That is around half the price to reserve the day. I have to pay the rest the day we show up.

Todd

Might take a bit for it to clear because I ran into a dispute over an ebay item I sold recently. Should be cleared up by mid week.
