We are talking the 31st I thought. I dont think they can predict rain 2 days out, let alone over a week away

 

yeah I hear ya, but the way the weather has been over the last week or so, I just assume that any weekend in the near future will have rain in the forecast.

I can almost guarantee y'all that a drought will begin on or after May 26. Why you ask??

Because it is on that day that I have a landscaper coming over to install a complete new front yard including starting a new lawn in one area from seed.

Also, I'm picking my car up from the body shop today with my body kit installed.

So, you see, when I don't want rain, like today, it rains. When I need the rain, I'm betting it'll be like the Sahara around here.

The thought of rain did come to mind... I am concerned about it as well. We will have to keep an eye on the forcast next week and revise plans accordingly.

One of my best friends has a G35 Coupe.. she will be joining us as well as her fiance and his new Audi ... so all makes are welcome I guess... (don't bring your P.O.S. daily driver.... lol)

I think that Dulles Town Center would work for me... we could meet at Macoroni Grill or one of the lots nearby.

I will also work on a flight plan for us if we want to go on a cruise.

VaGentleman: what bodyshop did you take your Z to? I am considering the Veilside kit and I need a reputable place to paint/install it.

 

Kind of. It was when I first got the car and didn't know how to drive it and I was using the lap timer on the MFD so the times aren't all that accurate. I got one of those OBD II setups to get more accurate times, but I haven't had the opportunity to test it out yet.

 

Let me kow i live in MD but i can go for a drive for a meet just post a date, location so that i can get directions. if it rains i can always drive my everyday car...(POS/GOV)

 

The 31st works for me Dulles is just around the corner.

This is my daily driver and no POS!

 

My daily driver - would help it I attached the pic.

 

I took it to East Coast Collision (in the same autopark, they also have East Coast AutoSports and also a shop devoted to Corvettes). They did my engine cover parts and did such a great job I wanted them to do my kit.

I ordered the body parts from Evolution Autosports in Chantilly back in February.....and finally picked them up Saturday (was quite the challenge to get the side skirts/wing in the Z, but I got them in there).

I left the car and the parts on Monday morning and picked it up Wednesday at 4pm. I just stood there for 10 minutes, speechless...they did an absolutely great job!

They are located in Alexandria at 5320 Eisenhower Ave. Their phone # is 703-461-7300. Ask for Johan, I believe he said he had before/after pics of my car, but I was just too distracted at looking at my car to look at the pics. Just tell him you heard of him from Ray and did the Brickyard Z Nismo/veilside body kit installation.

It's like the first day I pick up my car all over again....schaweeeeeeet!

btw, I notice your location is Arlington. I work in Crystal City, so If you want to see the car I'm sure I can oblige.
