Hi guys

Funny you should mention summit point - wow what a day, just got home from FATT (Friday at the track) what a blast!

The Z was so sweet, she really took care of me (shouldn't that be the other way around?).

Anyway 5/31 looks kinda dodgy, its 12 hours at the point and annual endurance race by the local SCCA boys - I thinking after today, I might just head out there and watch how its done properly. Maybe we could meet out there, it's about 70 miles west of DC.

Ermmm...I've just lived here all of my life, but where is the Dulles Mall? Last time I was out there, I believe we got together at the Dulles Mariott's parking lot.

And puleeeeeeeeze, don't tell me it's near Dulles Airport!!

Hey, anyone care if I show up in my G35 cpe? I haven't missed a meet yet and don't want to start now! If not count me in!

Dulles Town Center is where we will meet VG ... You should be able to mapquest it (www.mapquest.com) I was able to pull up a map on it with just "Dulles Town Center" and "VA" I don't know which way you are heading from .. but you can enter a start point and destination ... mapquest will give you complete directions..

Edretti, I have a friend, she will be bringing her G-35 Coupe up as well... so .. of course your welcome to come along... If you check out the begining of this thread for all of the details.

Ray/all. Town Center is super easy to find.. Its basically in the corner of Rt 28 and Rt 7.. easiest way to get to Town Center is :

From South: Take Rt 28 North to Nokes Blvd. Go up to light, mall is on left. Nokes is about 5 miles north of Rt 28 and Toll road interchange.

From West: Rt 7 East towards DC. Mall entrance is on south side (right side if coming east) about a mile after the Rt 28 interchange.

From East: No Tolls - Take Beltway to Rt 7 east exit. Continue for along time. Its probably a 25+ min drive from the beltway along Rt 7 till you hit the mall. Can't miss it, its on the left before you hit Rt 28.

From East: Tolls, but faster. Take Beltway to Rt 267 Dulles Toll Road. Pay .50 toll, head all the way out to Rt 28 North Exit (about 8 miles), pay .35 toll. Continue up Rt 28 till Nokes, turn right, go up to light and mall is on left.

There are the big green interstate signs for the Mall exit on Rt 28.

Ray, for you, its probably best to just come out Rt 50 or I-66 to Rt 28 and just head north from there.

Edretti.. well if this weather keeps up.. I'll have the dirty Z This is only about 12 miles from where I live, but I don't know any local routes to really run on. We can drag in front of MCI's head quarters.. empty road most of the time, but only about 1/4 mile before the first curve.

The road I **WISH** you could close off to traffic and drive is Falls Road in Baltimore County. My sister lives up there, and that would be the most KILLER road if you could do it without traffic..

Tho I think some of the close dodging we did in Rock Creek park last fall would constitute disregard for oncoming traffic

I'll see if I can talk her into tagging along although she thinks it's all macho stuff. Do you remember the guy with the black z that took us all through howard county that had temp tags on? I can't remember his name, anyway I hope he comes along as well. Well look forward to seeing you guys on Saturday and the new members as well.

Jilllllllllllllllllllllll! Was sup tailgater??? You coming down for the meet? I don't think that was him. It was 2 cool black guys that rode with us. They were funny as hell!

 

Guys any chance we could move forward to 11am or noon, I have a work issue that I cannot change at 3pm in DC and I'd hate to miss out on the fun.

Summit Point was a great day, I can highlly reccomend FATT (Friday at the track) great instructors and some very cool rides.

See you all on Saturday even if its for only an hour.

haha. Not sure where Dulles is. How far is it from you? I dunno if I feel like making the trip all the way down - it's probably OVER 2 hours

 

What is the time 1pm or 11 am let me know i will be there i have to call in sick so I need to know so that i can call in 10 hours prior....
