Default Northern VA Z owners

I have been seeing a few other new 350's on my area (Dulles / Reston / Herndon / Centerville) and was wondering who the other people were that I was passing by!

Proud new owner of a 350Z touring.

Anyone in the Northern VA area (fairfax) up for a informal cruise and photo shoot?

I work in the Alexandria region, and am always up for a nice drive and photo opportunity. I know there was supposed to be some others getting together but I haven't heard where or when.

Thanks

I'm in Chantilly with Daytona Blue Track. If it doesn't rain this weekend I plan to be at Summit Point to watch the vintage racing. May be some other Z's there as well from the Z Club of Northern VA.

I just saw a brand new chrome silver Z on my way to work today in Reston.

If that was you pulling onto Wiele from the toll road.. that was my that blew by the truck on the ramp to get to the turn lane

I drive my SB Touring to work every day down the toll road to Reston.

My boss has a chrome silver touring as well.

There are actually 3 other Zs at my Gym now too! A PPW, CS, and a DB.

There are actually quite a few NOVA guys active on the board.. betweeen here and MD we got up to 25 I think it was at the last big meet in Columbia.

Yup there are several in the area, we live in South Riding and drive the SB track to work in Herndon (via the toll road) often. And like most others here, we are always up for a meet.

Just say the word...

We own a SB Touring. Live near Mt. Vernon and the wife drives 395 into D.C. everyday.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there are dealer in the NoVA area that will let you test drive a 350Z? Thanx

Most of the dealers in the area are pretty stingy with test drives from what I've heard. I don't think I've heard of one that will give test drives to "just anybody".

I you are serious, find the dealer with the most cars on the lot and show up dressed "trendy" or "business". Basically, treat them like the "pretty girl" at school. If you seem desperate / over anxious they'll shoot you down. Make them want you to take a test drive.

I think the car you drive up in also matters. I drove up in my M to the Infiniti dealership and I was everyone's best friend up there. I pointed to a G35 and said I want to drive that one without even saying hello and they responded "I'll go get the keys"

noahbuddy,

I saw your post on your 0-60 time. not to start any sparring but isnt that a little off the 0-60 time for the Z? I did some times myself using my buddy's G-tech and got some times ranging from 5.5 to 5.9 and I have the auto version. I did 5 runs and never got over the 6 sec mark.

I know there are some discrepancies using the G tech but I know the Z should be faster than 6.5 from 0-60. Did you really get 6.5 0-60.

thanks

Yea, me too. I just left my Z at the body shop and they are painting/installing the body kit parts I ordered in February.

A veilside front lip and everything else NISMO.

The down side??....I have to drive this *%&$&!!! Toyota Echo around for the next 3-4 days. I just hope no other Z owners see me.

Sweet VG!! Damnit... sitting around with this stock Z is going to get the best of me yet!

Once the weather cleans up.. we definatly will arrange another NoVA get together.. it seems NoVA is picking up in Z density based on this thread and new members.

I've been waiting to wax my Z for 2 weeks now!! stupid weather.

I think at the min. a CAI is in my future.. I really want Doug's headers and plenum if I could hide the cash from my wife

May 31 is cool for me. I am actually on call that day, but F#%K it , I'll show up for a nice meet. 12 or 1 is fine for me, I work in alexandria but live in maryland so i dont know the area all that well. Just let me know what the concensus on the time and date is and I'll be there, unless it rains. Not a big fan of driving in the rain.

I can make it around 1 on Sat. may 31st. I live in Fairfax, I think the last Z meet around this area people met up at the dulles mall in a empty parking lot. Just a suggestion.
