yeah Jill it is. It's about an hour further away from you when we met in Columbia back in February? I was thinking about coming up for a Jersey meet for G35's but haven't decided. Either way hope you can make it if not I'll see you at the next meet!

Thanks for the directions Steve! I just needed the address (which I just found) and I'll punch it in my NAV system...keeps me company.

Oh, and what's this I hear about it taking 2 hours for Jill to get to Dulles from Jersey?? I would think it would only be an hour tops if her reputation for "the need for speed" still applies.

Any ways....cya all there!

Peace!
Tell her there are women at every meet.. besides.. if she's bored she can go into Nordstroms or something

Tony (sprechenz) was the guy with the other SB 350z with his buddy with him. Aceman (I think) was the other guy who went flyin with us. I'll cross post on 350zmotoring and see if we can get some bites over there as well.

As for moving times.. 1pm works better for me.. can still hit the gym in the morning then.

For Jill.. considering I-95 is probably the closest for you.. its probably an hour past where you came to Columbia.. a little more or less. Its not the most direct way, but its all intersate. If you are west of philly at all, it may be shorter to come down through Westminister Area of Maryland. But I-95 is always the best if traffic isn't an issue.

The only other thing is.. we may want to meet on the backside of the mall.. rather then on the JCPenny side (which I think is the front). Usually much more open parking on the backside.. near the Resturants.

I'll scope it out tonight on the way home

JCPenny is across from the restaurants, there are always miles of empty spaces there.

Ok, I was wrong.. I looked on the way home tonight. JCPenny is on the backside, near the resturants as previously stated.

Lets just line up at the very end of the lot, in front of Penny's. Should be plenty of space. (uno's is right across the street) Alt plan, right next to it is Lord and Talyors.. and that lot is a ghost town because its a little further walk to the mall.

Now.. lets pray for sun!

Default Dulles Meet May 31st

They are calling for rain on Saturday and then it is supposed to be nice for the following three days. Would people be interested in changing the meet to Sunday at the same place and time? I think there is a better shot for nicer weather.

What if it rains the following weekend? With the forecast that we've had this past month you never know. I say keep it for this weekend.

Possible scattered afternoon thunderstorms doesnt say "it's going to rain" to me. I say keep it as is, once we hit summer, there is a chance of rain everyday anyway.

That's what I read on The Weather Channel's site too. If that's the case, a storm probably would get going until it warms up a bit, i.e., like in the late afternoon.

Oh, Bob...do you still have that CD????

Thunderstorms dont usually occur until late afternoon or evening anyway, well after the meet would be over.

Well, according to the weather channel website, it's not just T-Storms any more....looks like it will be a wet day saturday, here's the hourly forcast:

Saturday, May 31 Chance of Precip. Humidity. Wind

5 AM Few Showers 30% 86% From the South Southeast at 7 mph

6 AM Few Showers 30% 86% From the South Southeast at 9 mph

7 AM Showers 40% 85% From the South Southeast at 12 mph

8 AM Showers 40% 86% From the South at 14 mph

9 AM Showers 40% 87% From the South at 16 mph

10 AM Showers 50% 88% From the South at 17 mph

11 AM Showers 50% 89% From the South at 18 mph

12 PM Showers 50% 87% From the South at 18 mph

1 PM T-Storms 60% 84% From the South at 19 mph

2 PM T-Storms 60% 82% From the South at 19 mph

etc. etc. etc.

However, on Sunday the forecast looks like (the hourly didn't go past 11 AM):

7 AM Mostly Cloudy / Wind 30% 74% From the West Northwest at 26 mph

8 AM Mostly Cloudy / Wind 30% 69% From the West Northwest at 26 mph

9 AM Mostly Cloudy / Wind 30% 65% From the West Northwest at 25 mph

10 AM Partly Cloudy / Wind 20% 61% From the Northwest at 23 mph

11 AM Partly Cloudy / Wind 20% 56% From the Northwest at 23 mph

If Saturday's forecast holds to be true, I vote for this weekend, but on Sunday, the same time/place etc.
