Yeah, its a risk I'm willing to take though. I drove up on to one of those parking things (the cement blocks at the end up the space). There were a bunch of 7-11 parking lot guys (looking for work!!! LOL) staring at me, as I backed up ever so slowly.....

I pulled it out of the rivets and everything! But hey, it gave me an excuse to buy a rivet gun!

OOuch ..... It depends, glass will give you a better fitment. I think it looks more stock then poly. On the other hand poly is more durable.
Conclusion:
Poly for lips and side skirts
Glass for front and rear fascia

Urethane, F-glass repair and repainting will cost as much as a new urethane bumper and paint. If you break a urethane part shame on you and your driving skill!!

fiberglass shatters, urethane flexs

the negative side on urethane is the prepwork, special primer is needed and imperfections are harder to cover.

Depends on your needs and purpose imo. If you drive alot go with poly, it holds up better and is less prone to paint/rock chips if cured/baked properly. Alot of the above is true. Also, some FRP (basically fiberglass) tends to deform and become wavy over time if lower quality. FRP is easy to repair yes, but finding someone who won't charge you the cost of a new bumper to repair is another story. Unless you're capable of doing it yourself it's often not worth it.

i had urethane on my last car and it was july 4th and in oklahoma, they put some firework stands in some GHETTO places and make their own driveways to the stands, so im driving and i got to one HUGE thing and it bent my sideskirts and my friend behind me said they folded like a piece of paper.
I was like :O
but luckily i just got them and they were unpainted, and when I looked at them, they were still in good shape and still look perfect.
urethane can take alot. I heard my friend hit a pole and his bumper folded inward, and when he backed out, the bumper went back out just like stock and that was that! (im sure he got some paint damage tho)

some of my friends have fiberglass front bumpers.. you gotta make sure your shop fills in the pits, sands it, and preps it perfect just like urethane! (just fyi if your new to this, i made this mistake on my last kit.. lazy shop)

my friend crashed his fiberglass front bumper and it was totally gone.
some ppl hurt their fiberglass and can repair it if its not too bad.

(however, the nicer body kits come in fiberglass.. i wish I couldve gotten the Amuse in urethane)

im just scared of fiberglass. Hit the driveway wrong, hit a curb, someone backs up into you, you have to go get the bumper fixed instead of touching up the paint..

If a competent shop preps, primes, and seals urethane correctly (with paints designed for urethane) it should flex with the urethane part and resist spider cracks unless it's really an extreme situation.

I had a urethane kit on my lowrider back in the day, it was indestructable.
