I got my AVIC D3 installed at CT2 yesterday and I'm happy as a pig in ****. The guys up there were cool as hell (although I did end up being over two hours late for work). I think hanging with the wrong crowd will surely lead to me spending an unreasonable amount of money on the Z and the inevitable demise of my marriage. Oh well.

congrats! the d3 is sweet! i was planning on putting that in my Z, i had the d1 in my eclipse and loved it. do you have the stock navigation in your Z as well? def post up pics!

 

I need a stock navi, do you have one available FS?

I will try to get some pics going. Work has made doing the simplest things a hassle. As for the price, I got the D3x package from Crutchfield. The package included the D3, the BT adaptor, the ipod adaptor, the steering wheel controls adaptor and the harness (which turned out to be the wrong one) for $819. Seemed like a pretty good price since I was seeing the D3 alone for $600+.
