Thought I'd give you guys a quick update. I just dropped off a core to Frank at Hill's Garage near Baltimore. I also just ordered a set of Wiseco extreme duty pistons and Cosworth connecting rods. Next stop - Justing Racing for the machining and honing of the core to some tight specs.
After that it's BC Stage 3 cams, sending the head to HeadGames for the full 5-point valvetrain overhaul, and back to Frank for assembly. I'm going with the APS TT Extreme kit and the Haltech platinum EMS. Dave's gonna be tuning my ride after all is installed.
Oh, should also mention I'm dropping in a Carbonetics triple-disk clutch and flywheel combo as well, and probably putting in a Quaife differential 3.91 gearset into a 350z 3.3 vLSD to extend out my gears.
Still unsure on which guages I'm running yet but I'm open to advice...

Funny you should say that. I was talking with Frank and he mentioned that if Dave's shop were closer to his home near Baltimore, they'd probably be working together. Frank also said Dave and him worked amazingly well together; he had nothing but praise for Dave!

Function:Garage FTW!
And btw, the 3.3 pumpkin has a VLSD (which is a crappy LSD anyhow) The only one that doesn't come with a LSD is a base model which has the 3.5 gears. You do NOT want to run the 3.9 on an APS Extreme kit

I dont know what you guys are talking about. The 20gs spool before 4k rpm - quick in my book. Bryan, you still didn't answer my question - if you have not actually bought the APS, get the 20g and dont think twice about it. The 20g kit will smash it. It gives you an opportunity to set-up your fuel and ems on the side. The GReddy 20g are fantastic turbochargers.

Dave told me that on the cars he's dyno'd that are high HP, his dyno seems to read lower as the HP increases. He told me he had a built Viper in the shop that put down 965whp and later dyno'd on a DJ at 12XXwhp.
The goal was always 600whp on Dave's dyno, not that I am a numbers *****, you just need a goal to justify the money spent IMO.

On the heartbreaker at F:T I would be happy with a 5XXwhp for the moment. Once the fuel mods are complete, I will be ready to push things and see what kind of max power I can put down.
