Below is a direct copy of the blurb from my fellow PowerShifter Court Hicks...you may know him from the Supra forums... see pics below. The purpose is for teenager to stay off the streets and to give them something to look forward to besides the weekend and all the trouble that comes with it. It also exposes them to cars and how positive the experience can be.

The theme is: the list of cars from gone in 60 seconds!!! so even if you dont show your ride...there will be about $2 million in cars to look at.... I will be there no doubt..come on out and show the kids that nerds can be cool like most of you are...lol j/k!!!!

“Cool Car and Bike Night”

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

6:00 – 9:00pm

McLean Bible Church
8925 Leesburg Pike
McLean, VA 22102

Scheduled events include:
- show and shine area for exotic cars and bikes
- virtual racing simulator
- car-demolition (working liability of kids with a sledge hammer out..stay tuned...lol)
big screen airing of the C'était un Rendezvous DVD with a Ferrari racing through the city streets of Paris
- fun events such as toilet bowl racing and obstacle course
- food and drinks

There is also the potential we may be able to get an open-wheel 1200 hp Ferrari to attend the event!

If you would like to bring your car or bike for the show and shine portion of the event please respond via email at:

Courtenay.hicks@tma.osd.mil with the year, make and model of the vehicle you will be bringing, a picture would also be welcome. Or if you prefer, simply reply to this posting regarding the vehicle’s information to GZILLA aka
4SHIZZIL.

If you are going to show your car or bike please try to have your vehicle at the event no later than 6:00 pm.

Cool. I think that NSX might show up also from the Car-B-Q.

Last time they destroyed a car...I think it was like a dollar a swing...that was fun....some parents got a little scared, but the kids loved it...lol.

 

DB9 and DB7 are in the count now.

bring a tricked out Cadillac XLR or something with a 427 in it and a Ferrari
365 2+2. I'll bring my Shelby GT350 and the Ferrari 360 Spider. I believe the Aston dealer will bring something current (e.g., V8 Vantage) and maybe a Smart car or something like that.
