Default Need Help With Brakes ASAP!

Hi guys,

I need to replace the brake pads and rotors on all four of the wheels in the Z. I'm located in Baltimore, MD close to Camden Yards. One of you responded earlier in the year with an offer to help me switch out the old and install the new parts but I lost the PM.

I can't pay much, but lets work something out. What Im looking for:

Someone with a driveway or a place off city streets that can help me install new pads and rotors on my 2003 Nissan 350Z 6mt Touring?

Please help me out here...thanks...

I've never done this before and the last thing I want to do is a DIY and *** something up and lose brakes.

Relax man it's easy. Should be able to use your jack, tire iron, 14mm and 17mm wrench to get it done.

But I'm sure someone can help if need be.

I recommend getting someone with air tools to help you out. Chances are the bolts are stuck on, which makes this task purely painful if you have to do it by hand unless of course, you enjoy the pain haha

I am about to do mine next week, the DIY doesn't seem too hard. You should at least try it out so in the future you can do it with no problems.

Nothing like setting the socket and then stomping on it to break the bolts loose haha PB Blaster is your friend in this situation. After that, you get to bed your new pads and rotors!

yeah man it def took some blaster and some elbow grease to the the bolts loose but after that its pretty much a cake walk. spray the pads down with a break solution to reduce noise and your all set.

no probs, I just want someone competent to help out. Id like to do the work together, not just watch so that I can do it myself in the future. Just didnt want to take 1st time risk doing a DIY on the brakes.

Case of beer and lunch?

No one in the area? I live like 1-2 blocks from Camden Yards, let me know as the parts will be arriving shortly.
