Alright, I'm breaking my thread cherry on this one. I usually just sit back and read but I gotta say something,...Dave and Function: Tuned ROCK!!!
Just got the Vortech installed and I still can't get the retarded grin off my face. I joined this site while was in Iraq, before I even had a Z. Ya'll pretty much made up my mind (corvettes aren't for me). Never thought I would go through with getting F/I done though, but with a deal like F:T's I had to think twice. If you haven't done it yet, I would take a second and think it through. This car gets my blood pumping faster than when I had friggin' rockets flying over my head. Dave and F:T, ya'll rock and I'm looking forward to coming back for more work in the future.

 

good to see that dave took care of you. function tuned is an unbelievable place. glad to hear everything worked out.

Funtion:Tuned is going to be vorteching my G35c anytime now. I have all the parts ordered and Dave just needs to let me know when to drop the car off.

The problem is that I can't get a hold of him! Dave is a super cool guy, but the suspense is killing me!

 

I've been trying to get a hold of someone there as well. Emailed and left vm but no response. I need some work done!!

 

Dave is rediculously over worked right now... i know he has a lot of jobs lined up at the moment so just keep trying him...

 

+1, thats why I made the review about how busy he was and he still put me into his schedule eventhough it was such a little job.

 

So did you get dynoed??? i really want to see the numbers

 

No dyno chart yet. I'm looking at going to a meet on the 27th in Hampton. I'll be getting both my car and my brother's 300zxtt dynoed. I realy don't care what the peak whp is, Dave thinks in the 370 whp range, I just wanna see were the torque and hp curves are at. Have a guy at work who just got a 2007 GTO and talks a lot of trash. We'll see soon.

 

so you didn't get tuned...? if the GTO is 6.0 you're in for a surprise

 

Of course I got tuned, I just didn't get a dyno print out.

 

Think you might be the first person I have come across who got boost and is unaware of their dyno numbers. Congratulations though hope you enjoy

 

nah you should get him if he is stock..prob not by much though.. the 6.0's are quick but they are still pigs.... now if he has bolt ons... then you are def in trouble
