Exclamation NEED HELP!! >>>>>NoVA Emissions<<<<<<<

Issue: Car has been modified - throwing codes and failing readiness = failure for VA emissions.

Too lazy to swap out necessary components to get passed. Does anyone have a similar experience?? SOMEONE - PLEASE provide me with usable knowledge.

Has anyone ever received a "waiver" on emissions for VA??

If ANYONE has a legitimate hookup for a GUARANTEED PASS - IM me please! (Cash and Beer for Incentive )

****SIDE NOTES - If your feed back does NOT APPLY to Virginia Emissions Laws/Regulations or you have "I think" advice, please keep it moving - Thanks!****

Karl (Mistress)

inMD, they will waiver you if they have any doubt that theyw ont **** up ur car...

if the emmissions station has any doubts on doing ur emissions without breaking ur car someway, they will give u a waiver.. at least here in MD..

they couldnt get my friends truck over the rollers cuz his control arms are 1.5 inches off the ground. so they waivered him...

they will waiver me cuz my front lip is 3 inches off the ground.

I looked into this a while ago, and this is what I found, VA emissions inspection will plug into your OBD port -- as long as you are not throwing codes and they don't use a Sniffer you should be fine.

Gotta clear those lights and drive the car for 50 miles or so without them coming back on -- you system will then be ready for the emissions diagnostic tool used by the inspector.

The codes are generated from the HKS Vpro - I can eliminate codes and pass my readiness IF I just simply put my stock injectors in and run the stock PCM. Down Pipes have fowlers - should be no issue.

Im really interested in hearing more about this "waiver" and if it applies to VA??

Thanks bro!

I've got a reader and I'm aware of what needs to happen in order to pass emissions....

I'm just looking for a "hookup" and or some sort of "waiver" that applies to VA. If ANYONE can elaborate on legitimate info on a "possible waiver" that would be great!!

Thanks for the info bro!
