Pungo Drift 5!!!
I was just wondering if there were any Z or G drivers that want to come out and spectate or come out and drift. I went the last time and spectate and to support one of our guys on the team. It was fun till it was time for me to go to work...... all the info is on the flyer. If you wanna drive, they are creating the registration link and I'll post that up ASAP.

Man I would not drift my Z out there not near enough room not bad though for 240's and Miata's. PIR is funny we have been calling it that for years in the autox community. Might have to make it out with the 240sx I am picking up this weekend.

yeah but this place is kinda haggard...its cool we have a place so close but honestly i kinda find it a half assed place...does any one know who owns it? is it the city or does some one private own it...it would be nice to see it get repaved.

it is a private owner you can talk to Wes from the Tidewater Sports car club or Shawn Lambert on Autocross.us, they all talk to the owner all the time when renting for an autocross. I know that the SCCA guys have tried to have it repaved multiple times it is just to damn expensive and there is no guarantee that they will continue to allow us to use it after it is done. There have been multiple times when we have gone out and repaved the bad areas with concrete. If there were other places to park you could use the paduc area to but again lots and lots of holes. I still think that a 350Z is to much car for this small area.

I highly doubt it will ever get re-worked at least not any time soon. The area is a concrete base so I wouldn't recommend bringing your daily driver out or if you don't have a change of tires handy.
It's plenty room for a 350z as long as you know how to drive. Dado was there from Mischief in his boosted M3 at the last drift event as well and didn't seem to have any problems putting the "track" to use.
