Default Need help with emissions in NoVA

Hello guys and girls,

I do not use the forums much and I am terrible at searching for things so please don't bash me. I currently own an 04 vortech supercharger with a exhaust system, test pipes, and headers. I did not have any problems with my engine check light coming on when I just had just test pipes and exhaust. Lately, I had my spark plugs changed and thought that it would help resolve the issue. I need emissions by the end of January and was wondering what else I can do or if anyone one has any where I could go to get my car checked. Please let me know. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years!

You get emissions checked every 2 years, or you can't renew registration. I may not be in the know as much as some people here (aka own a gas station or know someone who does), and when I tried to find someone I could "grease the palm" and let my failing DD pass emissions, I found out they have really cracked down on "the hook up"; store owners can lose their shops if found out by the state (from what I was told).

They just let you free if you can't make it on the machine they use to test... so slam the car and hope for a waiver!

I have no cats, but I passed with my resonated test pipes before my supercharger. I am throwing random misfires.
