Thanks God youre Ok that truck could easy crush you and start that loving heart of yours from beating...

get all your goodies out of the car soon...those shops are shaddy!
Thank you. i'm with you on the G space and trunkspace. I'm small and even I felt like there wasn't enough room for me in the Z..but the car is sexy as hell tho. Yeah i thought about gettin a G as well esp since i work here at inf. but we dont get very many manual ones. however i'm leaning more towards a 240 but who knows.

Well back then I just started working on cars so it took about 2 weeks to go over everything and drop it in. I'm not sure how long it will take me now but I'm sure the more you know the quicker it'll be. The worst part is the wiring. I'd recommend hiring a shop to do the electrical. I got the whole front clip from a company that went under a little after I bought it from them. I would also start checking out the forums: 240sxforums.com, zilvia.net, and check out enjuku racing for great parts for a lot less than the big wigs like Tomei, and ARC.

OP sorry for your loss. Yet another Mid-A ride goes down. What is that 3-5 cars lost this past winter?? Crazy. Glad to hear you are staying in the Nissan family and best of luck with your future build.

Sorry to hear about your car, I must have seen you before on 495 a couple of times. Anyways I have one of the same color, wanted to know what happened to the car do you still have it or has it been sent to a salvage yard. Wanted to know if you were willing to sell parts from it.

You can get it fixed there are so many body shops that will do it too. If you want I can get you a couple of numbers but it still will be considered totaled.

When they call it totaled, the insurance companies usually give you two amounts/options to choose.

$xxxxxx and you keep your car.
$xxxxxx and they take your car.

You can take the money and then look around for a body shop to fix the car. That way you could see if it would be worth the money or not.

In my opinion, how car prices are now, I would take the money, part out (or keep the parts), and get another used Z.

+1, I almost added my Z to that list. Thankfully it wasn't that bad. Just damaged the bumpers and wheels.
