My Z Totaled!
So here's the story...
I was driving home from work on 495 heading south from tysons corner.
It was that period in the rush hour where it was dying down and you'd speed up and then slow down every couple of miles. I was close to the gallows exit driving in the second to left lane.
I was in 3rd gear
...figure around there ur goin about 30-40mph so traffic was speeding up. The line of cars in front of me were braking..so naturally, i did as well. I Shifted out of 3rd gear into N and slowed down...
all of a sudden **BOOM**
I felt the rear end of my car go up and bounce back down..
I got all sorts of shook and started to freak out..
I looked behind me to see the front of an 18-wheeler tractor trailor truck!
I pulled over to the shoulder lane and just sat in my car crying cuz everything happened so fast...i sat there for the longest time b/c i didn't even want to see the damage done. When I found it in me to get myself to together and step out I looked at the damage and was just HURT!
I had taken it to the body shop and in the end they said it was totaled because there was too much damage to the frame and what not. In the int. the whole dash was popped up..navi screen went out..nothing in the dash worked and everything just looked like it had been somewhat shifted.
However, sometimes when i go back to look at these pictures, a part of me feels like it could've been fixed
They said i was lucky, it coulda been worse
I MISS HER!!!!!!!

That sucks sorry to hear but like everyone said, at least you're ok. I think a SR hatch is deff a good move. Did you have a 240 prior to the Z? If not you won't regret it. I miss mine and will be picking up another SR hatch in a couple weeks. GL
