Hey guys sorry for rolling out so quickly, but apparently one of the rangers was singling my car out and asking about it in particular(didn't catch your names, but to those who told me about that, thank you very much). My license situation isn't necessarily in the best standing so I wanted to get out of there asap, but it didn't really help as Ranger Rick decided to exercise his full right to be a dick in his park by following the Gallardo, Viper, and I all the way to 211. Once we hit 211 we had a great time down the mountain.Yea the old..to those I talked to before leaving; 211 is the sh*t right? I should have some video of the Gallardo and Viper going through some of the park/211 soon, but the camera wasn't mine, so may take a while.

DavidV, thanks for setting up the meet, had a great time, as did the Viper and the Gallardo. Hope everything turns out ok with you, and if you need any lawyer info just send me a PM.

that'll learn em.

The more I think about it, yesterday was a really weird day:

I put on and took off 6 tires, aqcuired a half black guy and one volk at a gas station in Front Royal, and then got kicked out of a park for driving a Z.

All in all it was a good day.

I advise you guys who pass on blind turns to please pass safely on a straight next time. We don't want to give park authority a bad image of us.

This. there were def. a hand full of people driving like idiots this time around... they would floor it through the straights then slam on the brakes mid turn!.very poor driving skills... needless to say our groups of about 6 jumped out ahead of the pack and did the standard slow through the straights observing the posted speed limit, then opening it up to a decent and enjoyable pace throught the turns.I believe we were the first to arrive at the restaurant... this seems to be the best way to enjoy skyline drive..

i was the DG coupe behind corey. There was slow moving traffic ahead of us almost the whole time. We were going slow in the straights to be able to build distance for taking the turns briskly.

Ok. Corey was pacing then. Maybe it was just hard to see up ahead of him. In any event I had a great time.

I think I only passed one car the whole time on skyline drive (aside from people peeling off into rest stops), and that was because she decided to do a 0-20-0 into the side of the road. Ok, so maybe I instigated it a bit, but coming to a complete stop for 2 mins for every dear and hitting a max speed of 20mph b/w them was causing me to lose what little sanity I had left.

Yeah, that's what caused Chen to get rear ended. Some douche stopped in the road because a deer was running on the opposite side of the stone wall!!!

Is everything on the forum "centered" for anyone else

This is what we ALL need to do.

DavidV needs to post up his fines...and everyone needs to paypal him at least a dollar. I suggest 5 bucks, but I know some of us are broke college stundents.

DavidV please post up your paypal address so that we can all pay for the ticket, that we all earned. If there were people passing and driving like that, then we all had the responsibility to kick them out ourselves or to stop them. This is all about the turns, you can drive an idiot on your own terms.

One car peeled at at the Fing gate, I hear it was a red G, trying to located him. I heard the lambo and viper was doing like 100mph?

whats the scoop on all this? true or facts.

This is why I only do NGC stuff now, younger kids have no idea, someone could of easily killed a person crossing the street, or in the road taking pics at those speeds.

I have been to skyline drive about 25 times in my G. I have had a blast each and ever time.... this one blows and reminds me that large groups need to be takin to the track.

All of these so called skilled Fast and Furious drivers never show up to the track where they will get there azzes handed to them.

So done with this schit....

public is for EVERYONE (singular), not for large groups.

read the park or any park website, large groups need police escort and a pass..... if we stop at a rest area, it becomes a saftety issue..the rubber neckers looking at all the cars, tourist stuck in the road because there is no room to park or drive.... very bad situation on a mountain...

if passed out due to an airbag, your car could easily roll off the mountain, if it didnt stop at the impact.

If this is the group I was in, that dude in front almost caused a couple wrecks 8-10 cars back. I understand he was enjoying his car and the road, but all that slowing down and speeding up was dumb! There was a couple times he jammed things up right in a blind curve and there was some close calls!!!!!!

I'm down for chipping in.

I can't believe dude (or she?) peeled wheels at the gate!!! Are you F'n serious? Common sense is so common apparently.

Corey is the one in the white G with Gold rims. Air force decal on the side. He lead the group I was in, we were up in the mountain until 5pm when we headed down 211 on our own accord.
